The building stands on an elevated area up on the hills, enjoying a panoramic view.
The project perfectly integrates into the surroundings: as the area is characterized by different altitudes, it is placed on two planes slightly offset by each other. Thus, two opposing volumes that are under a single roof and connected to each other by a large fireplace, degrade downwards and overlook through a large porch over the surrounding landscape.
The fireplace, since traditionally symbolizes the center of the house and the family, is a connecting element and the fulcrum of the house. It is different from the rest of the building due to its size, its sloped shape, tapered upwards, and its stone facing.
