The manor house in Rimaggio needed an important intervention at the roof of the main factory. It was necessary to ensure its stability without further aggravation of the underlying masonry in terms of vertical thrusts and overturning of the faces to the outside. After the complete dismantling and on-site storage of re-used materials (covering of cladding and cobblestones, eaves gutters and terracotta tiles), the main plunged wooden wrap was replaced with beams and struts in HE steel. It was appropriately secured by threaded rod to a perimeter plate engraved with the underlying existing masonry functioning as a curb to ensure box-like operation throughout the building.
The secondary warp, consisting of beams and double planks in wood or clay slabs, has been replaced on site with the integration of similar elements and connected to the main structure with special steel hooks.
