The “Levanella Scambio” area consist of residential buildings. It stands along the regional road 69, stretching perpendicularly toward the town of Montevarchi. This area insist in a landscape with less and less buildings, characterized by the presence of naturalistic elements typical of the Tuscan countryside.
The project envisages the realization of six residential units, organized in 3 blocks, having similar typological and morphological features. At the sides of the lot there is a trapezoid that, due to his features, it provides a central area with internal roadworthiness, pedestrian and carriage accesses.
That creates a community space in which there is a hierarchy between the central space, that recalls a pseudo-urban space, and the external spaces of the houses, close to green areas, where there is a more intimate conception of living.
This general composition idea, as well the aesthetic of each block, is always inspired by the characteristics of Tuscan architecture, as you can see it in the surroundings; it’s also simplified and reinterpreted according to the means, materials and techniques of the contemporary architecture.
Internally each accommodation were made with a living area with kitchen and three bedrooms (one twin and two singles) and two bathrooms accessible from a hallway. Each apartment has its own garage, that can be accessed by a ramp placed on the front of the entrance, and a technical compartment.
